We are now seeking an exceptional Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our award winning team based within our Qatar Office.


This critical role will be responsible for understanding all aspects of design including production, construction techniques, procedures, codes and standards that relate to Mechanical Engineering.


Paramount to success within this varied role will include;

  • Strong time management and organization skills are required to effectively manage multiple projects across multiple countries and ensure each design review is carried out within the required time constraints and meets the expected quality of output.
  • Strong technical understanding and design leadership in all aspects of design including production, construction techniques, procedures, codes and standards, etc that relates to Mechanical Engineering Systems namely; HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of local building codes in various countries, International Building Codes, QSAS/LEED requirements and other  similar sustainability standards among others.
  • Strong team leadership with excellent interpersonal skills when communicating directly with clients, consultants, agencies, local authorities, the Design Review Team and other KEO staff.



To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum 15 years career experience with 10 years in the Gulf region partnered with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Professional registration with a well recognized Mechanical Engineering Society or equivalent professional body would be an added advantage.
