We are now seeking a talented Contracts Specialist to join our award winning team based within our Abu Dhabi Office.



Reporting to the KEO General Counsel, this critical role will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and assisting in the negotiation of a range of corporate and project agreements and providing advice on as well as monitoring KEO's legislative compliance requirements.


Paramount to success within this varied role will include, but not limited to;


  • Assisting in developing and maintaining appropriate corporate policies, procedures, systems and processes to ensure best practice governance and compliance. 
  • Assisting in developing and conducting training programs to ensure employees meet the regulatory / internal KEO corporate policy requirements. 
  • Communicating with KEO’s assigned senior leadership or other designated stakeholders regarding the legal and contractual risks associated with Supply Agreements, Leases, Employment Contracts and Client Services appointments and assist in in ensuring that the legal / commercial risks to KEO are minimized. 
  • Liaising with and supporting each of the Divisional Executive in respect of their contractual / claims management and training requirements. 
  • Provide advice to KEO’s Clients (Governments and Developers) on contractual aspects of procurement strategies, consultancy services, construction contracts and claims. Involvement in this service including: liaison with potential clients, formulating proposals, concluding agreements and carrying out the claims assessment and dispute resolution services. 
  • Undertake Legal Research and keep abreast of legal developments/legislative changes relevant to KEO's business.



To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision the successful applicant will bring a minimum of 3 to 5 years post graduate career experience partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Law.


Alternatively, we would be open to considering candidates with an engineering/QS background who have more recently moved into a contacts/claims management role where a Masters of Construction Law (or similar) and membership of the Society of Construction Lawyers will be viewed favourably.
