InSite, an allied practice of KEO, is now seeking an exceptional Urban Planner to join our award winning team in Abu Dhabi.  

 

This critical role will work under the direction of a Senior Associate or Associate Level Urban Designer and in collaboration with other team members on master planning, urban development, and governance projects across all KEO markets.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include ;

  • Assist in the preparation of land use plans and development policies for master planning and other urban development and governance projects. 
  • Assist in the preparation of zoning and development control regulations, guidelines, processes and procedures.
  • Compile and analyze factors affecting land use and community development including economic, socio-demographic, legal, political, cultural, physical and environmental.
  • Respond to regulatory requirements for development planning approvals and non-objection certificates.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines involved in master planning or other urban development and governance projects.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of urban plans and reports to clients and regulators.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we welcome interest from graduate candidates through to those whom possess a minimum of 4+ years career experience. A Bachelor Degree in Urban Planning or equivalent is essential whilst a Masters level qualification will be highly regarded.

Professional certification as well as experience across the MENA Region will be viewed favourably.
