We are now seeking an exceptional Plumbing and Fire Fighting Engineer to join our award winning team based within our Abu Dhabi.

 

This critical role will be involved in the design process on one or several projects depending on size, type and complexity as well as apply sound engineering principles in the development of design solutions and the production of contract documentation.

 

Responsibilities

 Paramount to success within this varied role will include ;

 

  • Ability to critically review building services documentation (drawings, calculation and specifications) at all design stages from concept to construction documentation and provide valuable design input and direction. 
  • Proficiency in the design of sustainable Plumbing & Fire Protection systems including technical knowledge of hydraulics, piping systems, pumps and equipment. 
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer and 3D CAD software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is essential. 
  • Interfacing and working with clients in a professional manner to achieve project goals. 
  • Proven ability to work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects. 
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a 5 - 8 years career experience in with a Mechanical Bachelor Degree or Master qualification.

 

Prior design experience with various building services design codes such as British Standards, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, IMC and other International design codes is desirable.
