We are now seeking an exceptional Senior Project Engineer - Environment and Waste to join our award winning team based within our Abu Dhabi Office.

 

This critical role will be responsible for conducting environmental studies such as: Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) over a wide range of waste/environmental projects.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;

 

  • Knowledge of Environmental and Solid Waste Management Legislative requirements (various Middle East locations) or possess the ability to acquire knowledge quickly. 
  • Experience across all fields of Solid Waste Management (from planning to design and monitoring). 
  • Experience in the delivery of waste strategy projects is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the design of waste management infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Ensure that solid waste management requirements of local legislation and international best practice standards are complied with. 
  • Assist in the preparation or contribute to tender proposals for the Waste and Environmental Departments in their own right and for cross discipline bids managed by Project Managers within other KEO divisions. 
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
  • Site works may be required as part of this position. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 5-7 years of career experience with a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering with specialization in solid waste management studies.

 

Professional Membership of CIWM will be viewed favourably. 

 

Bilingual communication skills in both English and Arabic will be warmly received.
