We are now seeking talented Architects will all levels of experience to join our brand-new office in Lisboa, Portugal. This critical role will work as part of the Design team facilitating high quality project documentation required for different phases in a timely manner, and facilitating the coordination of the architectural and engineering services on various projects. Dependent on the level of experience you may also be required to assist the Senior Architect/Design Manager with project coordination in all stages, from concept design through to contract documentation.


We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Assess the requirements of a project, break a project down into tasks, and work with a Project Architect to determine scope of work, budget and staffing.
  • Write scope of work for architectural design based on preliminary review and meeting with the client.
  • Knowledge of applicable local and international building codes, work with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to building codes is required.
  • Assign and review work of project design team. Check progress of work and alert Project Manager to change of scope or additional services.
  • Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within company and externally with clients in the presence of the (PM) and other design professionals.
  • Review construction budgets based on experience and scope of project.
  • Promote use of and participate in development of company design and production standards.
  • Assist in the education and development of design staff and act as resource for design questions.
  • Maintain neat and organized work area which allows efficient access to project information required by other team members.
  • Hold regular project progress review meetings with all concerned engineers and disciplines.
  • Ensure QA/QC procedures are being implemented and any QA/QC comments/issues are being addressed.


To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have (as a minimum qualification) an Architectural degree. We welcome all levels of experience, from recent graduates up to 10 years professional experience. Additional educational qualifications will be viewed favorably. Furthermore, you should demonstrate:

  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture, Revit Architecture, Sketchup and PhotoShop, Illustrator and In-Design.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Sound organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information clearly.
  • Understanding of design and construction concepts.
  • Working knowledge of design, production, construction techniques and standards.
