Our newest opportunity is for Environmental Engineers to join our brand-new office in Lisboa, Portugal. Reporting directly to a Project Manager in our award winning Sustainability and Environment Division, this role will supoprt  the waste and environment division by assisting in the assessment, monitoring, and management of environmental aspects in construction consultancy projects.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Assist in conducting EIAs for construction projects to evaluate potential environmental impacts and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Assisting in the preparation and contributing to the content of tenders proposals for the Sustainability and Environment Division and any cross discipline bids for other KEO Divisions.  
  • Supporting the development of market assessments for waste management.
  • Developing and improving designs for waste management facilities and building waste management systems.
  • Supporting the wider company on design projects with waste, water and emissions management strategies

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include over 2  years' work experience partnered with a BEng/M.Sc - Bachelors/Masters in Sciences, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field. 

 

Furthermore, you should demonstrate:

  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and guidelines related to construction projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in environmental engineering (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, environmental modeling software) is a plus.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
