Our newest opportunity is for a talented Lab Technician to join our award winning team in Al Ain, UAE.

 

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Conduct tests on construction materials such as concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, and other building materials to assess their properties and compliance with industry standards.

  • Ensure that construction materials used in projects meet the required quality standards and specifications.

  • Record and maintain detailed and accurate records of test results, methods used, and any deviations from standards.

  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment used for material testing, such as compression machines, sieves, and other specialized testing apparatus.

  • Collect samples of materials from construction sites for laboratory analysis, ensuring that they are representative of the materials being used in the project.

  • Analyze test data and prepare reports summarizing the results. Communicate findings to project managers, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Ensure that testing procedures and laboratory operations comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

  • Work closely with construction project teams, engineers, and quality control personnel to address any material-related issues and provide insights for decision-making.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5 years of relevant experience partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Material Science or related field.
