Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Assistant Resident Engineer - Roads to join our award winning team in Al Ain, UAE.

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Supervising all or a portion of the contractor's structures work as assigned by the Resident Engineer (RE) and take responsibility for the quality control and inspection.
  • Assigning the inspection staff to monitor and inspect activities of the contractor.
  • Providing assistance in contract administration as requested by the RE.

  • Providing technical training to the inspection staff as required.

  • Being aware and vigilant on all aspects of the construction activity at the assigned site and responding with appropriate and necessary levels of action and supervision to meet quality expectations of the work in accordance with contract documents.

  • Preparing Requests for Information (RFI's) when needed for review by the RE (civil).

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years’ career experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Candidates must possess relevant working experience in road and expressway projects.
