Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transaction are recorded.
  • Assisting with updating accounts receivable and issue invoices whilst also running of reports and preparing Statement of Accounts for Clients as and when requsted.
  • Assisting with updating accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
  • Assisting with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
  • Updating financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
  • Preparingand submit weekly/monthly reports.
  • Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
  • Assisting with other accounting projects.
  • Assisting with handling petty cash and its requirement as a back up to the other team members.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include experience from graduate level to 1 - 2  years work experience partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting.
