Our newest opportunity is for a talented BIM Manager to join our award-winning team based in Al Wajh,KSA.

 

The BIM Manager is responsible for ensuring the coordination between the various Contractor(s) engineering teams and in managing the coordination process to ensure a fully coordinated BIM model and fully coordinated shop drawings (and other associated construction submittals) are produced. This role will utilize the latest Building Information Modeling, GIS, 2D and 3D modeling technologies to coordinate the shop drawings provided by the Contractor(s).

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Reviewing/ Validating the submitted BIM documents such as BEP, MPDT and TIDP received from the contractor(s).
  • Reviewing/Validating the submitted models and ensure compliance with the Employers BIM requirements through construction and handover stages, apply relative QAQC procedures to ensure the data quality of the submitted models.
  • Delivering in timely manner all documentation required for construction purpose such as clash reports, open fronts or schedule visual status.
  • Assisting the Employer to develop, implement and manage systems and procedures for Employer’s Common Data Environment (CDE), such as Aconex, B360 etc.
  • Leading participation in model coordination progress during fabrication and construction stages.
  • Leading participation in design coordination progress, design coordination meetings and workshops.
  • Generating soft and hard clash detections between various utilities and different stakeholders, analyze the interferences among the different trades and take the responsibility of the validation of resolution plans.
  • Ensuring Federated model (NWD) is always up-to date, reflecting the latest design, construction, and as built information.
  • Responsible for the management and coordination of the Model until Project Close Out, at which stage the ‘As Built’ Model will be transferred back to the Employer for ongoing Facilities Maintenance.
  • Assisting the Employer in managing the project controls (time and budget) through 4D and 5D models.
  • Utilization of 3D BIM models to review/Validate the fabrication drawing, shop-drawings and as built.
  • Coordinating and managing the activities of the project utilizing BIM technologies to ensure that all work is coordinated efficiently, in line with the Contract through BIM Modules.
  • Contribute to successful project Coordination by providing technical services in accordance with project time and quality.
  • Coordinating all construction activities between various Package Trade Contractors in 3D environment.
  • Hosting BIM Coordination meetings and participate in design review meetings and workshops. Develop detailed interface requirements and coordinate through BIM.
  • Assisting the project team utilizing visual presentations of design issues, project schedule issues and as built situations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in an Engineering discipline.
