Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Planning Manager to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This critical role will be responsible for the development of the master schedule for a complex/high value project and specific detailed schedules to include timetable, costs and progress of construction (installed quantities, expended labour hours etc).

 

The project is a sports stadium and as such, the successful candidate will have previously worked on stadium projects in the GCC region.

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Logistics Officer to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, Saudi.

 

The logistics officer is responsible for providing logistic support and overseeing the overall logistic processes in support of the project objectives. as well as the planning, oversight, and management and coordination of logistics support operations to ensure smooth accomplishment of projects.

 

We envisage success in this role to include;

 

  • Reviewing and approving the Contractor’s logistics management plan.
  • Monitoring and controling the project logistics, organization, and safety by adequately scheduling staff, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure that communications and safety protocols are followed.
  • Prioritizing works and organizing tasks based as per the project baseline schedule.
  • Developing plans or timetables for the movement of materials, heavy equipment, and light trucks; workforce and parts supply in compliance with the project requirements.
  • Managing the contractor’s schedule to track and station materials promptly, as well as providing for preventive maintenance.
  • Responsible for the movement of materials to a warehouse (on-site & off-site) locations in preparation for shipment, and conduct receiving activities.
  • Developing and maintain materials delivery registers and performing coordination with the CS Consultants technical team to ensure that all delivered materials are as per the approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitoring and control all materials deliveries via coordination with the CS technical and planning teams to ensure that materials delivered are as per the required construction sequence and approved baseline schedule.
  • Ensuring that all materials delivered to on-site and approved off-site storage facilities are stored in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Coordinating with the contractor’s Logistics Manager to ensure that all site ingress/ egress points are reviewed and approved by the CS Consultants HSSE Manager, with final approval from the EPMO.
  • Coordinating with the contractor’s Logistics Manager to develop a logistics plan for all proposed public roadway detours and/ or road closures.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum 10 years’ experience within the GCC, Engineering degree or relevant specialisation. Valid experience in Building Construction Projects as a CS Consultant essential.
