Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior BIM Manager to join our award-winning team based in Amman, Jordan

 

The role will be responsible for assisting the Infrastructure leadership in applying Digital Engineering and Digital Delivery across the division. Leading information management, modeling work and coordination using BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows and procedures in the preparation of concept, detailed and construction deliverables, and maps for the Infrastructure Division.

 

We envisage success in this role to include

  • Conducting digital onboarding introductory to team members.
  • Contributing to winning work activities such as proposals and presentations.
  • Contributing fully with limited supervision, to the key parts of the project solution based on their digital area of expertise.
  • Developing concepts, reviews of designs and models for feasibility.
  • Contributing to creative and innovative design solutions.
  • Resolving design gaps with stakeholders.
  • Preparing digital deliverables for tender and/or construction projects according to engineering standards and project requirements, under engineering direction.
  • Demonstrating understanding and application of safe and sustainable design and legislative requirements.
  • Participaing and managing small to mid-size projects, including coordinating the preparation of: cost estimates, tender, submissions, technical documentation, client reports. Monitors project progress, scheduling/ resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Displaying advanced knowledge and application of the Digital Delivery process, Digital Workplan / BEP and the information requirements of small, general and major projects.
  • Applying competent 3D modelling in the maintenance of federated models, to computationally create and spatially coordinate design.
  • Overseeing the ongoing quality control of all construction documents (models, drawings, schedules, reports etc.).
  • Providing formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years of experience partnered with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or other Infrastructure related major.

Furthermore, you should demonstrate: 

 

  • Fully conversant in BIM methods and procedures and have a proven track record in the creation and responding to EIRs, authoring or contributing to BEPs and setting up delivery mechanisms to meet the clients BIM requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Infraworks, Navisworks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of other discipline software and tools such as Dynamo, Revit, Python, Rhino, Grasshopper,
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of local building codes in various countries, International Building Codes, LEED requirements and other similar sustainability standards amongst others.
